Bowen Building
Bowen Building
The Kaempfer Company
Washington, DC
Located at the corner of 15th and Eye Streets on the corner of McPherson Square in northwest Washington, DC are two buildings now known collectively as the Bowen Building. These two buildings contribute to the Historic District. Redeveloping this site to "Class A" office standards with parking required the removal of all the interior building structure. The design, under the purview of the Historic Preservation Review Board, includes a nine-story addition to the Liberty National Bank facade and a two-story addition to the original Bowen building.
